i went into the de ja vu department
and ordered the same again
from a different waitress,

the same old food,
was brought by a new waiter,
to feed the anger,

same splurt,
as i cut the bloody steak
and watch it bleed
as i did before

the same tears
trickle,
from my face,
staring at my bloody hands,

with the same expression as last time.

i know,
i'm going to the same hospital
with a different nurse
a different doctor,
to fix the same brain,
the same heart,

with the same breaks
as the time before

and the time after.
